XPM85 SOLD

XPM85 is the flag ship of XPM (eXtreme eXploration Passage Maker) fleet and has been sold to a couple from the United States who have been looking for a solid and safe explorer yacht for quite a while. The keel has been laid in May, 2021and the launching date is considered to be December, 2022 for sea trials.

XPM85 is designed by Dennis Harjaama, Artnautica from New Zealand.

She will be certified with CE A Unrestricted Navigation Category and MCA MGN 280 through international approved institutions.

XPM85 is designed for long range cruisings especially at Arctic circle. Her hull plates are made with 15mm plate thickness in underwater areas and 10mm at sides. She has a keel thickness of 25mm Aluminum Plate!

Hull construction is approximately twice stronger comparing to standart class society rules. Double bottom construction provides a double metal strength and safety for crew.

Twin engine configuration: Scania 300 HP with CPP (Controlled Pitch Propeller) propulsion system provides maximum efficiency during long cruising. The captain can adjust the pitch and get maximum power from propellers. Steering system is designed with double cylinders and with two emergency system gives confidence in the most difficult areas on our Planet.
