Dinçer Dinç

Co-Founder, Naval Architect

Born into a family with a deep connection to the sea, Dinçer Dinç has transformed a lifelong passion for yachting into a career defined by innovation and excellence. This passion led him to study Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, where the dream of shaping his future of yachting truly began.

After graduating, Dinçer immersed himself in the heart of Turkey’s yacht-building industry, working in Tuzla on projects ranging from 24-meter motor yachts to 62-meter superyachts. During this period, he served as a Naval Architect, yacht designer and Project Manager, developing a strong foundation in design, engineering, and production management.

In 2008, he founded a design and engineering office, serving some of the most prestigious shipyards in Antalya and Bodrum as the naval architect and designer of numerous 36- to 46-meter superyachts. Two years later, Dinçer and his brother Barış Dinç took the next bold step — founding their own yacht-building company. By 2012, they had established their state-of-the-art shipyard in the Antalya Free Zone, which today stands as one of the region’s most innovative yacht builders.

Over nearly 25 years, Dinçer has been directly involved in the design, engineering, or construction of more than 50 yachts — totaling over 1,600 meters in length. He continues to transform his passion into groundbreaking projects, working closely with yacht owners to make the design and build process an inspiring experience.

Starting the Business

Founded in 2008, Naval Yachts began as a specialized yacht design and naval architecture office with a clear mission — to create innovative and seaworthy yachts tailored to each client’s vision.

In its early years, the company collaborated with numerous shipyards, acting as designer and consultant for superyachts over 40 meters. These projects ranged from concept design and exterior styling to engineering and technical support, building a strong reputation for precision and reliability.

This early expertise laid the foundation for Naval Yachts’ evolution into a fully integrated shipyard, capable of delivering complete solutions — from design to construction — under one roof.

Growing into a Shipyard

In 2010, Naval Yachts made the strategic decision to expand from a design office into full-scale yacht construction. A clear vision was set — to build a shipyard that meets and exceeds world-class standards — and every step was taken to realize this ambition.

Just two years later, in 2012, Naval Yachts successfully delivered its first major project, a 41-meter superyacht, marking a significant milestone and proving its ability to manage complex builds from start to finish. This achievement laid the groundwork for the company’s future as a leading yacht builder on the global stage.

Opening the Antalya Shipyard

In 2012, to meet its ambitious quality goals, Naval Yachts established its shipyard in the Antalya Free Zone, one of the most prestigious yacht-building hubs in the world. This strategic move enabled the company to manufacture its own products while entering into a joint venture with Bering Yachts.

During this period, Naval Yachts successfully launched multiple projects and expanded its production capabilities. Since 2018, the company has been operating from its current state-of-the-art shipyard facilities in Antalya, continuing to deliver world-class yachts to a growing international clientele.

Over Forward

Over the years, Naval Yachts has launched its own renowned series — Greenaval, XPM, and LXT — while also completing numerous fully custom projects. With an unwavering commitment to innovation and design excellence, the company has successfully delivered more than 40 projects to date.

Through its rigorous quality-control procedures and comprehensive follow-up systems, Naval Yachts continues to move forward with confidence, constantly raising the bar for yacht building and setting new standards in the industry.
