NavalYachts and Artnautica Cooperation

Naval Yachts, in cooperation with Artnautica, offers the XPM and LCR series for you, our valuable users, to make your dreams come true.

In our shipyard located in Antalya Free Zone, we produce the series in which Dennis Harjaama reflects his imagination in his designs, in line with the special requests and needs of the customers.

XPM Portfolio

XPM78

After a long and intensive process of designing the eXtreme PassageMaker XPM78 (derived from LRC78) design saw the light in 2016. The first XPM78 called Mobius (see mobius.world) has been built at Naval Yachts, Antalya, Turkey, and has splashed in February 2021.

The build of XPM78-02 Vanguard started in March 2021 at Naval Yachts. Vanguard is built to commercial standards, including full redundancy of mission-critical systems. She will get a large solar array, twin JD 4045 engines, and hybrid electric drives backed by a large split Lithium battery bank (2 x 60 kW).

XPM85

The XPM85 is a natural follow-up to the XPM78. It presents the owner with more layout options. The engine room is also somewhat more spacious. The build of XPM85-01 started in August 2021 at Naval Yachts. The vessel will get a vast solar array and twin Scania 250HP engines with CPP propulsion.

LRC Portfolio

LRC58

The LRC58 is a fuel-efficient, and future proof passagemaker.

The LRC58 hull is very sleek with maximum waterline length. The interior volume is kept relatively small compared to the overall length. Most trawler-type boats in this length category are much heavier, beamier, and higher, have much more internal volume, weight, and therefore cost. A Low Displacement to Length Ratio (LDLR) is crucial for effortless cruising speeds and low fuel consumption.

The LRC58 is self-righting.

At the top of the list of desirable LRC58 attributes were rugged simplicity, efficiency, safety, and affordability.

LRC65

After designing the LRC58 in 2013 and the XPM78 in 2016, the architect has decided to fill the gap between the two. In March 2020, the LRC65 design came to life.

The designer has kept the hull narrow and low volume while making the boat feel considerably more generously proportioned than the LRC58. The hull’s length is 20 m, and it is 5 m wide, including the rub rails. Besides passage-making this still allows the boat to fit into European harbors easily and sail the French canals to or from the Mediterranean.

The extended wheelhouse roof makes it possible to install 16 solar panels (169 x 105cm) for a total yield of 6,8 kWh (and counting). The alloy weight estimate is 8.2 tonnes, compared to 5 tonnes for the LRC58. The displacement will be 20-22 tonnes.

The LRC65 design has been completed in August 2021. The build of LRC65-01 started in January 2022 at Aluboot.
